9:00 – 9:20

Community time where children, parents, and teachers engage in child-led outdoor interests.


9:20 – 9:40

Circle Time: Children gather for a morning greeting time with songs and introducing the aide of the day. All parents are welcome to stay for circle time.

9:40 – 9:50

Community snack with a discussion about the day's activities.

9:50 - 10:50

Center Time: Various provocations are available for the children. They are encouraged to participate in each center but are free to choose the activities they prefer. Teachers design educational activities around students' interests.

10:50 - 11:00

Clean-up Time: Children and teachers clean up the classroom together.

11:00 - 11:50

Outside Time: Free time to run and play, group games, creative movement, music, create in our nature art area, outdoor centers, and drama on our outdoor stage.

11:50 - 12:00

Hand washing and story time before lunch.

12:00 - 12:20

Lunch Time: A time to sit down together and enjoy a pleasant lunch. 

12:20 - 12:45

Free Play: Children that have moved on from lunch, may engage freely in play before the closing circle. 

12:45-12:50

Clean up Time

12:50 - 1:00

Final Circle: Gratitude, reflection on the day's activities, a game, and/or a concert. Parents are welcome to attend.


This schedule is flexible, as we adapt the daily schedule throughout the year as needed to best meet the needs of our children.
